Michael Rivara

Officer Michael Rivara is a lifelong resident of Oglesby and graduate of LPHS. He attended Illinois Valley Community College followed by Western Illinois University and received a Bachelors degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. He was hired in 2021 and has since received multiple certifications teaching firearms, high risk stops, and field training. He became an officer to better give back to the community he calls home.
